She traced the words etched into cold granite – Sam Jameson, 1989-2016. A cello was engraved below. He had been such a clown, balancing on that ledge for her entertainment, fine cellist fingers stretched into space. With nervous laughter she had pleaded with him to come down. If only he had listened.
